Achievements
Achievements are a record of how deep you have penetrated into the
game world. Achievements are automatically acquired when certain
conditions are met.
Achievements are often acquired in the strangest of places, so don't
hesitate to explore widely and investigate every possibility the game
throws up.
Gems: Crafting from Ether Crystals
As you progress through the story, you'll become able to craft ether
crystals to produce precious stones known as gems. This process is
called gem crafting.
Inserting gems into slots in pieces of equipment will give your equipment special effects.
Gem crafting is always done with two party members. Choose
carefully, because the affinity between them will have an effect on the
gem that's created.
